About the team

This position sits in the GBS Analytics Team in Global Business Services, Chennai/Bangalore. Our key priorities are to provide automated analytics and reporting across the enterprise, working with our customers to define key metrics and accessing the data to productionise reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements, understand business logic & data models.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap and user-stories that reflects the customer’s perspective.
  • Represent the customer within the GBS Analytics team from product/service inception through to in-life support.
  • Managing (agile) & coordinating the work of developers to deliver the required results.
  • Manage the process of turning requirements to automated dashboards.
  • Managing & coordinating the work of developers to deliver the required results.
  • Defining and establishing support mechanisms so that the solution will persist in a reliable manner.
  • Ensuring that work produced by the teams confirm to designs and development standards so that economies of scale can be achieved during the support phase.
  • Contribute to the development of the GBS Analytics values, and by maintaining awareness of external (non-AZ) best practices and insights.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Ability to review systems and map business processes As-Is/To-Be with exposure to Process Mapping tools.
  • Ability to grasp technical and organisational concepts rapidly, without needing to build deep expertise in them.
  • (Agile) Product Ownership as part of a Scrum team, including Business Analysis. e.g. user-journey mapping; BDD user-story writing, process-mapping, facilitation, problem-solving; roadmap creation; “upward” communication; etc
  • Coordinating the work of business, IT, and external teams to deliver the required results.
  • Clear and effective communication (written, visual and verbal)
  • Knowledge & hands on experience in design thinking skills.
  • Data literacy & Supports data investigations/validation.
  • Familiar with project management software, eg: Jira, Confluence
  • Influence decision-making processes and guide stakeholders towards effective solutions by facilitating consensus among diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Ability to collate information from relevant sources for analysis and reporting relevant data trends for informed decision-making.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with analytics best-practices & business intelligence tools: PowerBI, PowerApps, AI.
  • Fit for purpose solution design and data models.
  • Good understanding of data modelling, data visualization and other relevant tools and techniques.
  • Experience of working within a global organization.
