Global Commercial Operations supports AstraZeneca’s global brand teams and marketing companies by delivering quality commercial content to external stakeholders, including doctors, healthcare professionals, and patients. We promote, produce, and publish best-in-class commercial content for marketers and our global sales force while embedding a digital compliance capability across the organization.

The Global Commercial Operations Content Center is a showcase for exceptional content that reduces global redundancy, generates savings, and aids in developing innovative customer experiences. Content Center drives content re-use and supports flexibility in local market production by providing customizable templates and source files for final promotional assets. Content Packs, offering multiple global assets as a package, are a new initiative from Content Center, with current activity focused on expanding this program.

Global Learning Services (GLS) delivers significant business benefits such as improved learner experience, innovation & process optimization, analytics capability, and cost-effective, sustainable, and scalable learning solutions. GLS provides a single-entry point for managing learning administration for global learning systems. Process optimization increases simplification and standardization of learning processes and governance, exploiting innovation and automation wherever possible. Analytics capability enhances our ability to provide performance metrics and analytics – delivering better data insights and improving business decision-making. Providing cost-effective learning solutions reduces the cost of learning administration to the business.

To deliver our Global Learning Services vision, we seek an experienced Senior Analyst (LMS Quality Lead) who will support learning initiatives by bringing key skills in learning management, content development, and experience in creating and leading multiple phases of project life cycles.

Accountabilities

Quality Assurance & System Optimization:
- Develop and implement quality assurance standards and procedures for the LMS.
- Conduct regular audits and system checks to ensure consistent functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot LMS issues and work with vendors or technical teams to resolve them promptly.

Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance user experience, streamline workflows, and improve LMS efficiency.
- Implement process improvements and system enhancements based on user feedback, analytics, and best practices.

Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure data integrity within the LMS by overseeing regular data entry checks and validation processes.
- Develop and maintain reporting standards to track key metrics such as user engagement, course completion rates, and compliance requirements.
- Analyze LMS performance data to provide insights for decision-making and optimization efforts.

Compliance & Regulatory Standards:
- Ensure LMS compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Work with compliance teams to ensure training programs meet regulatory and certification requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Learning & Development teams, and other stakeholders to align the LMS with organizational learning goals.
- Act as a liaison between LMS users, support teams, and vendors for technical issues or system updates.
- Manage relationships with LMS vendors to ensure optimal performance and service levels.

Essential Skills/Experience
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of LMS platforms and learning technologies (experience with platforms like CSBX, Degreed, Xyleme).
- Quality Management: Experience in quality assurance, process improvement, and system optimization.
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret data, create reports, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address system issues and user challenges.
- Communication Skills: Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including IT, HR, and Learning & Development teams.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing system configurations, data integrity, and compliance with regulations.
- Project Management: Ability to manage projects related to system improvements, updates, and LMS implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience working within Quality.
- LMS Domain knowledge.
- Experience with all aspects of learning solution development preferred.
- Experience in communicating with various groups of customers at different levels.
- Experience in managing multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate how the training program and reporting support business needs.
- Build productive working relationships with the business unit you support.
- Communicate effectively and possess strong business writing skills.
- Proficiency or ability to gain proficiency in eLearning software.
- Proficiency in training curriculum development preferred.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, market dynamics, and major AZ business drivers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Customer focus and organizational awareness.
- Ability to manage strict timelines, escalations & ensure quality of deliverables.
- Ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Excel and PowerPoint experience required.
- Working knowledge of Articulate and Captivate authoring tools.
- Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design process.
