We are looking for experienced data analysts who can lead data profiling and analysis for Axial as we embark on data harmonization across our 7 ECC systems.

Axial will be powered by S/4HANA a new Enterprise Resource Planning system which will be implemented across the organisation. We will be transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain, from bench to patient.
The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily and will be central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally as we move from 7 discretely configured ECC systems to one global common platform in S/4 HANA.
The Axial Data team is leading the roadmap and delivery Data Cleanse, Harmonization and Migration from “old to new”.
Job Role Details
What you will do:
Collaborate with multiple business teams and senior leaders within Axial and Operations groups, to lead data profiling and analysis of our existing ECC data landscape and formulate strategies to harmonize various data sets as we migrate from old ECC systems to S/4 HANA
Lead the analysis of our data using various Syniti/ADM and profiling tools
Be engaged in data management work such as informing strategy to harmonize, developing various tools/process to sustain ability to cleanse/harmonize post S/4 go live
Develop & embed standards and guidelines for the business intelligence lifecycle.
Be responsible for navigation of interim states and solving the problems they generate.
Prepare material, tools, sample data, and processes for Fit-2-Standard workshops where data mapping/harmonization decision making will take place
Contribute to the analytics and AI operating model.
Identify learning and development needs.
Essential Qualifications:
Perform data profiling, evaluate the quality of the data, identify and interpret trends or patterns in data sets.
Expertise transacting within SAP (mass transactions, table level lookups and query building)
Write, execute and debug SQL queries to confirm data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing
Experience with Python, or other programming language a plus
Leverage industry profiling & cleanse tools (Information Steward, Syniti ADM, LSMW & Winshuttle)
Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of analytics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Experience working with Senior stakeholders and in management level presentations.
Experience working in bigger project and implementations
Influencing design and user experience.
Experience in working with large and sophisticated data sets that are the subject of our analysis and strategy to harmonize – this includes SAP Material types, Business Partners (Customer/Suppliers), Cost Centers, Profit Centers and other enterprise level data objects in SAP
Strong drive to learn new concepts in business processes, tools and applications.
A strong ability to convey complex information through analytics, catering from Top-Floor to Shopfloor.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in one or more full SAP ECC of S/4 HANA implementation cycle/s with data migration
Experience in Business Process Management Tools like BIC or Nimbus or Signavio
Regulatory experience, e.g. GxP and SOx.
Exposure to more than one of the SAP modules such as: MM, PP, IM, EWM, QM, TM, or Controlling etc from business side. Technical or configurations skills are not required for this position.
Familiarity with data science, AI/ML concepts and use cases.
Bio-Tech, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience.
Leading teams of analysts and testers.
UX experience.
Experience in Planning tools like Hyperion, SAP BPC or SAC Planning.
Certifications in SAP, Project Management, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Lean Framework or Operations.
Experience in large scale, complex & multi-year projects.
