As a Senior Consultant in SAP Analytics Cloud & Datasphere, you'll drive analytical initiatives and empower data-driven decision-making acaross the organization. Accountabilities:
Solution Design & Hands-on Implementation
Design and develop analytic applications, interactive dashboards, and KPI models using SAC and Datasphere for both import and live scenarios.
Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise with SAP Datasphere and SAP BDC in solution design and implementation, enhancing data utility and process automation.
Build scalable, secure, and governed data models within Datasphere to support advanced analytics and reporting needs.
Integrate SAC dashboards with Datasphere datasets to provide consistent, up-to-date analytics for end users.
Connect, model, and harmonize data from SAP and non-SAP sources within Datasphere, enabling cross-system analytics through SAC.
Design comprehensive reports with multiple tabs, queries, visualizations, and drill-down capabilities tailored to business requirements.
Customize SAC applications using JavaScript and other scripting languages; orchestrate data automation in Datasphere.
Champion standard methodologies in data visualization, user experience, and accessibility to drive solution adoption.
Continuously optimize dashboard and application performance, making enhancement recommendations and identifying bottlenecks.
Drive adoption of predictive scenarios, R-visualizations, and external libraries, creating immersive and insightful user experiences.
Team Management & Coordination
Coordinate with delivery teams, fostering collaboration and promoting high standards of performance. Lead junior developers across delivery lifecycle.
Mentor and coach junior team members, guiding their technical development and encouraging adoption of standard methodologies.
Provide technical mentorship and help enhance robust ways-of-working frameworks, ensuring software quality, accurate documentation, and efficient project delivery within agile and scrum environments.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate closely with business collaborators, product owners, and various business teams to capture requirements, establish clear expectations, and ensure collaborator engagement throughout delivery.
Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams to deliver integrated analytics solutions supporting end-to-end business processes.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Education & Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
10–15 years of relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years as a Senior Consultant or in a comparable SAP SAC/Datasphere-focused role.
Technical Expertise
Demonstrable experience designing, implementing, and delivering SAC solutions for reporting, including integration with SAP Datasphere.
Proven hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP BDC for data management, integration, and automation.
Expertise in SAC predictive functionality, Smart features, sophisticated story canvases, data blending, cross-calculations, input controls, and linked analysis.
Advanced skills in connecting SAC/Datasphere to SAP HANA and other external databases.
Proficiency in SAP Datasphere for developing unified, harmonized, and regulated data models to support enterprise analytics.
In-depth knowledge of data integration and ETL processes across SAC, Datasphere, and related analytics platforms.
Advanced coding and scripting abilities in SQL, Python, and JavaScript for dashboard customization and data automation.
Experience with SAC scripting for custom widgets, analytics applications, and automated data flows in Datasphere.
Team & Collaborator Management
Solid background in leading all aspects of team management, coordinating worksheets, managing delivery, and mentoring team members within agile environments.
Experience collaborating across various business teams to translate requirements into robust analytical solutions.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Understanding of SAP Finance and/or Operations processes (valued).
Certification in SAC Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Low-Code/No-Code Developer, or related (appreciated).
Good interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and ability to thrive in an agile, dynamic environment.
Energetic, organized, and self-motivated approach to work.
Fluency in business English.
