Accountabilities:
- Implement and maintain Neo4j graph database infrastructure to deploy the Knowledge Graph Service.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure meets service requirements.
- Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for streamlined deployment.
- Leverage containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Configure and manage AWS cloud platform for optimal performance and scalability.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions for performance, reliability, and security.
- Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure setup with new technologies and best practices.
- Document infrastructure setup, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge in setting up and managing Neo4j (or similar) graph database infrastructure, including configuration, backup, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), and automated deployment (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Expertise in cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or OpenShift for service deployment and management.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable network infrastructure, including load balancing, SSL/TLS, and VPNs.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of the Neo4j service.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, IT service management, and incident management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
- Expertise in performance optimisation techniques for large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of advanced network and security concepts like zero-trust architectures.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Certification in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies.
