Introduction to role
The Cloud Platform Success Lead is a pivotal role responsible for aligning product roadmaps across various squads, managing risk, and driving innovation. This position ensures the continuous improvement of platform efficiency and oversees the governance and execution of Cloud Platform Strategy. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and expertise in Product Management, Agile methodologies, achievements, risk management, platform metrics & efficiency, and outstanding communication abilities.skills.
Accountabilities
Product Management: Own the Product Management framework, foster a culture of product thinking and collaborate with cross-functional squads to unify and govern product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic vision, scorecard and objectives. Ensure through active engagement with technical squads that roadmaps are actionable and adaptable based on feedback and evolving business needs.
Governance and Risk Management: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to manage Cloud platform risks proactively and effectively. Facilitate regular risk assessments and manage mitigation strategies.
Innovation Management: Foster a culture of innovation by managing an Innovation platform and run campaigns to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance platform capabilities and performance.
Platform Metrics and Efficiency Improvements: Gather and analyze platform performance measures to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive skills matrix for the team, ensuring capabilities alignment with current and future needs. Identify skill gaps and oversee necessary training and development initiatives.
Understanding of Cloud Platforms: The role is part of the Cloud Platforms organization, at least a high-level understanding of Cloud Platforms is expected.
Documentation: Oversee the maintenance of documentation in confluence and encourage Cloud platform leads to uphold standards.
Act as a change agent and effective communicator.
Roles within the product team that you will interact with will be Cloud Platform Leads, Engineers, Operations teams and externally with teams to communicate roadmap and progress.
Role involves working with Cloud platform leads, experience in technology likely Cloud is crucial.
Operates in a Global capacity across multiple countries.

Essential Skills/Experience
Technical or Business Degree or relevant proven experience
Proven experience in Product or Platform management with a focus on aligning roadmaps and improving operational efficiency.
Effective knowledge of governance, risk management, and innovation practices.

Experience in managing skills matrix, implementing goals and achievements frameworks, and encouraging a culture of success.
