In this role, you'll be an individual contributor responsible for the technical delivery of projects, ensuring they align with business goals. You'll demonstrate your technical expertise across various tech domains, including Data & Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, and AI, while collaborating closely with stakeholders. Your mission? Deliver innovative Data Analytics and AI solutions for our diverse business units.

Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable AI applications to solve complex business challenges.

  • Collaborate closely with data scientists and other developers to integrate AI models into end-user applications.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for AI models and applications.

  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best coding practices are followed.

  • Debug and resolve software defects in AI applications and ensure application performance.

  • Conduct regular testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Work with DevOps to streamline the deployment and operationalization of AI models.

  • Use cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage compute resources efficiently for AI workloads.

  • Stay updated with the latest AI and machine learning technologies and integrate them as appropriate.

  • Develop and deploy AI models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing platforms and systems.

  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of AI applications and stay updated with the latest AI technologies and standard methodologies.

  • Optimize AI models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AI applications. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.

  • Apply strong knowledge of data engineering concepts to make use of data in AI solutions to extract meaningful insights.

  • Flexibility to support application management and work shifts as required.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Industry.

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying AI and machine learning applications.

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java etc.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.

  • Proficient in software development concepts, such as coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively in a team settingnt.

  • Proficiency in SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and other database-related tasks.

  • Solid understanding of DevOps, DataOps, and product management.

  • Experience with automation strategies (CI/CD etc) and containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker) will be an advantage.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar large multinational environments.

  • Relevant certifications in data engineering, analytics, and AI are a plus.
