Accountabilities
As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the solution design for a specific business capability within the Clinical Supply processes. You will ensure that the global standard solution is accurately documented and tested, championing the design through governance forums. Collaborating closely with IT BAs, Product Managers, and external partners, you will integrate solutions into AstraZeneca's global standard design. Your leadership will guide a team of Business Analysts, ensuring effective solution designs and project documentation.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes including warehousing and distribution for clinical purposes
- Proven track record of delivering complex designs for a large business transformation project
- Good partner management and communication skills with Business and IT areas with a demonstrated capability to influence key partner groups
- Good team player able to work across the program team and communicate in business and IT terms
- Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open attitude
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver IT change across multiple locations and/or Business Functions including ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language.
- Solid skills in business operations, communications, customer and partner engagement, and internal team member management
- Challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions
- Able to manage large work efforts and coordinate distributed teams
- Able to think out of the box, thrive in ambiguous and stressful situations
- Innovative capabilities, agile attitude requiring critical thinking and foresight
- Strong organizational design skills and workshop preparation
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to multi-functional audiences
- Knowledge of standard project tools like JIRA, Smartsheets, Solman and MS Office
- Adaptable approach balancing technical detail with agility in problem solving
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Certification in specific SAP S/4HANA lines of business or willingness to complete such certification
- Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations
- S/4HANA implementations for complex global organisations from Design to completion of Deployment
- Knowledge of clinical supply processes
- Knowledge/experience of SAP Intelligent Clinical Supply Management
- Capable of working in a direct and matrix organization, driving collaboration across businesses and IT functions
- Knowledge of the S/4 and wider SAP application roadmap as it is relevant to your line of business and the ability to translate that roadmap into the AZ strategic view
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP S/4HANA configuration requirements in the relevant areas/process domain
