The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.

The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

Introduction to role

Are you ready to disrupt an industry and change lives? We are looking for an experienced support lead with a strong background in analytical tools and user engagement. Join us as we build a team to support both finance and operations process areas as we roll out to new markets. This role is pivotal in pre-engagement, understanding market use cases and users, coordinating with senior leaders, and ensuring the right people are trained and involved in defining our analytics strategy per site. You will work closely with business analysts, engineering teams, and product owners to leverage our growing analytics estate.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be central to pre-engagement activities, understanding market use cases and users, coordinating with senior leaders, and ensuring the right people are trained and involved in defining our analytics strategy per site. You will collaborate extensively with business analysts, engineering teams, and product owners to understand the analytics estate being built and how best to leverage it. Your ability to understand data and analytics at an enterprise level will be crucial in developing novel solutions and sharing that knowledge with team members and analytics users. Our team operates in a transparent and agile manner, with a published roadmap of analytics products and a continuous flow of new work from across the Axial program and AstraZeneca.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of service management (processes, metrics, standards etc).

  • Great comms skills.

  • Experience of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C etc.),

  • Team leadership and team building.

  • Enterprise scale systems running 24x7 globally,

  • Strong influencing skills,

  • Hands on experience in S/4 HANA

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Service management qualifications,

  • Globally distributed teams and customers,

  • Regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, GxP, SOX, GDPR)

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Experience of manufacturing, supply chain, distribution,

  • SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud.
