UK Benefits Specialist
Type: 12-month secondment
Location: Cambridge
In this role, you will support the eligibility and operation of the UK benefit schemes, deliver benefits in a simple, understandable way to employees, and resolve escalated issues with 3rd parties. You will also support in delivery of the annual benefit renewals, share plan launches, benefit related projects, manage and monitor benefits expenses, upload monthly pension contribution files and liaise with colleagues in other functions to support resolution of benefit-related queries.
Required Essential Skills & Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex benefits in a clear user-friendly way.
Proven analytical skills & ability to design and create clear presentations.
Proficiency in analyzing benefits data, understanding trends and providing actionable insights.
Solution focused, with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, and an eye for detail.
Demonstrate knowledge and Experience in working in partnership with 3rd party providers.
An understanding and interest in Diversity and Inclusion and how this impacts benefits.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel & PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Experience in benefits management, systems, and administration including Healthcare, Flexible benefits, Pensions and Pension Auto-Enrolment and Voluntary Share plans.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Knowledge of UK benefits legislation, understanding the regulations and compliance requirements related to employee benefits in the UK with the ability to stay updated with changes in legislation.
Knowledge of invoicing and financial management to oversee accurate processing of invoices from benefit providers.
Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving and enhancing benefits offerings.
