Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of due diligence? As a Due Diligence Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating projects of varying sizes and scopes. Collaborate with the Due Diligence Lead and cross-functional teams to initiate, conduct, and close out projects throughout their lifecycle. Your duties will involve welcoming teams, coordinating virtual data rooms (VDR), leading all aspects of projects, collaborating with others, and keeping important documents up-to-date. Accountabilities
- Collaborate closely with multiple Due Diligence Leads and collaborators within BDO for the lifecycle of projects, often supporting several simultaneously.
- Liaise with members of the Due Diligence Project Team and Deal Counterparty Team.
- Administer Microsoft Teams sites.
- Provide specialist project-based support, including VDR setup and management, RFI management, and maintaining confidentiality registers.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings to ensure smooth operations, including scheduling and amenities.
- Take ownership of specific work streams within the due diligence project, such as data privacy.
- Perform administrative tasks using independent judgment and discretion.
- Build documents and presentation materials for sharing with collaborators.
- Plan, organize, and schedule your workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of activities.
- Provide ECHO system support (or its equivalent) as required.
- Support the due diligence team with AI integration where appropriate.
- Support maintenance and continuous improvement of due diligence systems, processes, and procedures.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Good understanding of the R&D process and Business Development activities
- Displays high levels of accuracy, diligence, attention to detail, and integrity
- Ability to follow processes
- Project management skills across large multifunctional teams
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Experience of building relationships with a diverse group of individuals both internally and externally
- Competence in the use of relevant office equipment and systems
- Experience of a variety of software/systems including external databases and datarooms
- Can create and maintain systems for efficiency for both self and others
- Customer Service Skills, and confident working with all levels of the organisation
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
- Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and support multiple projects at once
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Relevant vocational qualifications (degree) or equivalent experience
- Team management skills
- Self-starter with ability to work autonomously
- Creative problem solver
- Thorough understanding of the local organisation, and extensive knowledge of how local business processes interface to other relevant processes and information systems
- Able to undertake a full range of mathematical calculations/activities relevant to the area of work
- Experience working in areas requiring a high level of confidentiality
