We are currently seeking a Medical Science Liaison in the Oncology area to play a leading role in our Medical Affairs Oncology Department. This is an exciting opportunity to be a scientific ambassador for AstraZeneca, equipped with the knowledge you'll need to keep pace with rapid complex science and the latest changes in medical practice and therapeutics worldwide.

Accountabilities:

A Medical Science Liaison is a scientific expert in the field, engaging in high-level scientific exchange, building and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with external experts, and uncovering unmet medical needs & evidence gaps. You will coordinate scientific exchange meetings, deliver presentations, and contribute to the medical strategy of the assigned therapy area. This role will have a strong focus on launch readiness given our strong pipeline in Oncology.

Crucial Skills/Experience:

  • University degree in life sciences (e.g., pharmacy, biology)
  • Proficiency in English and Hungarian (a must)
  • “B” category driving license, driving experience and willingness to travel across Hungary
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinking

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in the relevant therapeutic area and/or medical experience in the relevant field
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical company
  • Valid Good Clinical Practice certification
