Work Schedule: Three days on-site, two days remote (3/2)
Work Hours: 9 am to 6 pm IST or 2 pm to 11 pm IST basis business needs (Transport available as per company policy)

Role Summary:
As an Associate Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and technical proficiency in data management for the US BBU. You will facilitate effective communication and streamline issue resolution. This involves translating complex business needs into actionable data solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Your expertise in data management will be key in guiding the development and deployment of innovative data products. You'll leverage your analytical skills to provide insightful analyses that influence business strategy. By fostering a collaborative environment, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement user-centric design approaches and agile methodologies, ensuring data products meet the evolving needs of the business. Your proactive approach will help the organization stay at the cutting edge of industry trends and best practices.

By embedding a strategic mindset and fostering stakeholder engagement, you'll ensure the data products not only meet but exceed user expectations.
Key responsibilities
Provide operational and technical support for US BBU data management activities – data quality management, business process workflows and data management needs for downstream applications and tools.
Provide appropriate operational troubleshoot and triaging related to data processing, business user queries, data investigation and ad-hoc analytics
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and basic ad-hoc analyses to support business teams.
Act as a liaison between Commercial/Medical stakeholders and IT for escalations and issue resolution.
Assist in managing access, user roles, and updates across platforms like Sharp.
Essential for the role
Quantitative bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required in one of the following or related fields: Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science or Data Science.
Proficient in PBI, PowerApps [development & troubleshooting], SQL, Python, Databricks, and AWS S3 operations.
Strong understanding of data governance, privacy standards, and operational best practices.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to develop and effectively
Experience working in a business support or operational data management environment.
Define and document detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements for the data products.
Advocate for a user-centric design approach, ensuring that the data products are intuitive, accessible, and meet the needs of the target users.
Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute agile sprints, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
Present succinct, compelling reviews of independently developed analyses infused with insight and business implications/actions to be considered.
Strategic and critical thinking with the ability to engage, build and maintain credibility with Commercial Leadership Team
Exposure & Understanding (any 7): ELAAD, APLD, HCP Segmentation, Targeting (Call plan), Alignment, SFO Structuring & Sizing, HCP Campaign - Digital Promotion & Measurement, Xponant data (sales data - Rx data), HCP Specialty Management Data, (DDD MD), Call Activity, Fingertip/Formulary (Plan PBM lives data)
Desirable to have (any 3):
Knowledge of AZ brand and Science
Experience of working with multiple 3rd party providers, including information technology partners
Strategic and critical thinking with the ability to engage, build and maintain credibility with Commercial Leadership Team
Understanding of US BBU commercial and medical business functions
Experience with Sharp [Internal AZ platform] administration, Power Apps development or troubleshooting.
