This individual will work closely with the Head of Business Operations to ensure that operational activities align with our company strategy and market needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business strategy, operations, financial planning, and investor relations, with a proven ability to thrive in fast- paced, high-growth environments.WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVESKey Responsibilities:· Oversee and optimize all aspects of day-to-day business operations for Evinova to drive efficiency, scalability, and profitability.· Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Commercial & Customer Delivery, Product-Design- Engineering , Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.· Develop and implement operational processes, and metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.· Partner with the Head of Business Planning & Operations and Chief of People and Operations, supporting high-level decision-making and ensuring alignment between business operations and strategic goals.· Manage internal communications, coordinate cross-departmental projects, and ensure that key initiatives are executed effectively.· Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards that provide critical insights to senior leadership.· Drive strategic planning sessions, track the execution of key initiatives, and adapt strategies based on market trends, competitive intelligence, and operational performance.· Oversee the creation and refinement of senior stakeholder engagement decks, financial models, and other key documents necessary to secure funding and strategic support.· Identify potential risks in operational and strategic initiatives and develop robust mitigation plans to safeguard the business. · Lead Evinova in-market operating model across all locations including site engagement leader network to maximise · Lead acceleration initiatives aligned to operational efficiency targets for People and Operations team · Lead Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans in partnership with Head of Cybersecurity · Track budget and AI commitments for People and Operations team.Qualifications and experience required:· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.· 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting, with a demonstrated track record in fast-paced, high-growth environments.· Proven experience in a Chief of Staff role or similar capacity supporting senior leadership, preferably within the SaaS, pharmaceutical, medical device, hightech, or healthcare sectors.· Strong expertise in strategic planning, business case development, fundraising, and investor relations.· Exceptional financial acumen with hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and P&L management.· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross- functional teams and engage effectively with external stakeholders.· Fluent EnglishWhy Evinova (AstraZeneca)?Evinova draws on AstraZeneca’s deep experience developing novel therapeutics, informed by insights from thousands of patients and clinical researchers.
