Introduction to the role

Connected Insights is looking for a Product Analyst to report to the Head of Connected Insights. The role will be pivotal indelivery of digital products, and particularly focus on working with multiple Agile development podsto ensure they are delivering business value.


As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of digital products, working closely with product owners, scrum masters, and business analysts to ensure successful project completion. You will leverage your experience in cross-functional collaboration to help drive the product roadmap, prioritise features, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Competitive candidates willhave a proven track record of successfulend to end product delivery within an Agile environment, along withexcellent collaboration, communication, planning and partner management skills.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the product development process from ideation to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product vision and strategy.

  • Work closely with product owners, scrum masters, and business analysts to prioritize features and create detailed product requirements.

  • Drive the delivery of products by providing clear direction, setting goals, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Act as a liaison between agile development teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, timelines, and potential risks.

  • Continuously monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on the product to enhance its value and user experience.

  • Ensure adherence to standard patterns defined by architecture and heads of engineering within the pods, guaranteeing consistency and alignment with best practices across IT services.

Essential Skills/Experience

- Experience as a Product, Platform or Delivery Lead
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
- Collaboration in Agile environment – Proven track record with working with product owners, scrum masters, and business analysts to successfully deliver projects, demonstrating strong interpersonal and team management skills.
- Apply design thinking approaches and collaborate with UX Researchers to ensure user-centric product development, driving a deep understanding of user needs and preferences within the agile process.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Experience in a technical product/solution delivery role.
- Customer focus - dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers: Strong bias for action and results
- Business Leadership – ability to partner and collaborate across both IT and business teams to provide optimum benefit to Connected Insight stakeholders. Ability to identify new opportunities and to network to develop cases/proposals to meet desired outcome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills/Experience

- Familiarity with software development practices such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and version control systems to effectively collaborate with development teams and drive efficient product delivery.
- Experience working with architecture teams within an IT organization to align product roadmaps with technical capabilities, ensuring scalability, security, and overall architectural integrity of the products.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry practices and knowledge of specific therapeutic areas such as oncology
- Demonstrated awareness of AI, including generative AI, and an understanding of the latest trends in AI technology, showcasing the ability to leverage cutting-edge advancements in AI within the pharmaceutical industry to identify and capitalize on additional opportunities that support stakeholders.
