As a Business Support Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our Executive and Senior directors, ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of complex schedules. Your expertise in technology will help us innovate and streamline processes, while your organizational skills will keep everything running like clockwork. Accountabilities:
- Provide support to Executive and Senior directors, managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and events, and scheduling complicated travel in line with AZ policy.
- Work collaboratively with Business Support colleagues to deliver a lean, consistent and professional global support service, including knowledge sharing and training within the team.
- Become an expert in using technology to efficiently complete tasks and propose technology-based solutions.
- Support projects under general guidance ensuring delivery of project outputs according to plan, reviewing and refining plans as necessary.
- Independently plan, organize, and schedule own workload, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time while using and developing best practices.
- Point of contact for SBD & CI new joiners/visitors to the Barcelona office.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Significant PA experience.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English language.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced, cross-functional global environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and networking skills.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office suite, and virtual meeting technologies.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational, forward-planning and stakeholder management abilities.
- A high degree of personal credibility and professionalism when interfacing with organizations internal and external to AZ.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working in a pharmaceutical or healthcare organisation
