The RDU IT BP EUCAN and International Commercial team serves as the Business IT point of contact, supporting demand capture, requirement gathering and analysis, co-design, building and end-to-end solution delivery, and change management coordination. You will partner with business stakeholders at the international region and market level, as well as Alexion and AZ ITBP and IT leads, with a strong focus on value creation, experience, change management, and adoption of digital solutions. Your role will support the build of our next generation of digital & IT capabilities, enabling omnichannel engagement, targeted actions, performance, and insights leveraging existing and emerging digital tools, technologies, platforms, services, and processes.

Accountabilities:

- Drive and implement business and digital transformation initiatives by partnering closely with Business and IT leads to align IT, Digital & data capability with organizational and business goals and priorities.
- Act as a trusted partner working in close relationship with Business (office and fields), Digital and IT Teams, at regional and country levels to understand key processes, business needs, gaps, and opportunities.
- In strong partnership with ITBPs, business leads, and our Enterprise services delivery and COEs, drive and support end-to-end value delivery process, from demand intake, requirements gathering and prioritization, innovation best-in-class solutions co-design, coordination build, implementation, and change management.
- Proactively offer innovative technologies, solution ideas, and potential business process improvements in pursuit of driving efficiencies and meeting business needs. Deliver best-in-class digital capabilities and innovative solutions creating value and impact to our business, HCPS, and patients. This includes experimentation and MVPs, pilots, and proof of concepts leveraging emerging digital technology, VR, AI/ML, etc.
- Key contributor supporting our International cross-functional Digital governance.
- Serve as an expert to cross-functions on the use of the digital tools and platforms within the Alexion RDU.
- Deliver solutions for new cross-function challenges that are practical, flexible, scalable, reusable, strategic and are achieved through the application of industry-proven architectural principles, standards, and governance.
- Utilize foundational AI competencies to support digital and omnichannel initiatives, enhancing data-driven decision-making, process automation, and personalized customer engagement strategies.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- 8+ years of progressive experience in an IT business-facing role, supporting digital transformation and enablement, capturing requirements, and delivering solutions with strong exposure to end users.
- Experience designing and delivering digital assets and supporting technology/digital operations (websites, databases, mobile apps, social add-ons, marketing automation connectivity) to support corporate, marketing, and commercial plans.
- Experience in hybrid BA and project/change management, analysis, development and support change management and adoption of projects and new solutions. Agile certification preferred.
- Experience influencing and negotiating successful outcomes in both technical and business arenas.
- Demonstrate grit, clever problem-solving, honesty, team-based ambition, strong attention to detail, high character, and logical decision-making.
- Tech-savvy with demonstrated experience and interest in new and emerging technology for direct consumer/end user like AR/VR/MR, user app, AI/ML chat bot.
- Strong multicounty and multicultural knowledge and experience working with end users and technology/digital platforms (portal, mobile apps, website & landing pages, SEO, Social listening, virtual meetings, webinars and e-congresses, interactive visual aids, approved email, social channels, Marketing Automation) ensuring end-to-end integration, analytics & insights.
- Fluent in English; additional EU languages are a plus.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- PMP, Agile, ITIL certification preferred.
- Degree preferably in IS/IT or Digital technology or equivalent.
- Experience in BioPharma or Rare disease pharma regulated industry.
- Experience in matrix organization.
- Experience with CMS (preferably Sitecore) Architecture and Design, Common API Classes, Veeva Systems and Security Models.
- Experience designing and delivering digital assets (websites, databases, mobile apps).
- Experience in delivering and operationalizing global digital technologies.
- Experience in agile project management.
