We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Director, Global Commercial Diagnostics to join our Global Commercial Diagnostics team. In this pivotal role, you will help to channel our scientific capabilities to generate a positive impact and improve patients’ lives. As Associate Director, you will support commercial diagnostics activities across key indications of our launch brands, focusing specifically on the lung cancer portfolio. You will collaborate across multiple functions and regions to deliver best-in-class diagnostic capabilities aligned to both commercial objectives and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of the global commercial diagnostics strategy for lung cancer indications and associated brands, ensuring alignment with overall franchise brand plans and commercial objectives.
Drive the development and execution of commercialization and marketing plans for diagnostics, with a focus on launch readiness, market growth, and maximizing patient outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including commercial teams, medical affairs, R&D, insights & analytics, market access, and local affiliates—to coordinate, optimize, and execute diagnostics initiatives globally.
Develop positive relationships with external collaborators like diagnostic developers, influential experts, patient advocacy groups, and HTA/payer organizations to improve diagnostics capabilities and market access.
Provide operational leadership and hands-on support to address challenges in biomarker testing adoption, patient journeys, and the sample testing pathway, enabling effective market strategies to accelerate access, availability, and accuracy of biomarker testing.
Improve internal and external insights to inform strategy, monitor performance, find opportunities, and adapt plans to improve commercial and patient impact.
Contribute to cross-functional projects and represent the diagnostics function in key business meetings, providing timely updates and ensuring strong communication and alignment across regions and leadership teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
6 years of pharmaceutical and/or diagnostics marketing experience.
Proven track record in launch and commercialization of diagnostics, particularly in oncology.
Strong team-oriented leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence and collaborate across all levels of a matrix environment.
Experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies for diagnostics at the global or in-market level.
Strong analytical skills and the proven ability to translate analysis into actionable strategy.
Thorough understanding of drug development and commercialization processes, as well as the evolving biomarker landscape.
Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, sophisticated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MBA) in a relevant discipline.
Global marketing experience, including diagnostic and therapeutic launches.
In-market launch experience.
Solid technical background in diagnostics development and biomarker science.
