What you'll do...
Reporting to Head of Medical CVRM in this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of world-class medical and brand strategy. You will support the pre-launch of innovative medicines in Cardiorenal and hypertension fields. You will also support the development and implementation of initiatives which are scalable and that transform the Healthcare ecosystem. Collaborating with key external stakeholders to advance clinical practice, you will maintain AstraZeneca’s position as the scientific leaders and partners of choice. You will also support evidence generation and dissemination initiatives which have impact on clinical practice.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to you will build and support internal scientific expertise and capability on TA and product knowledge. You will provide expert medical input into regulatory submissions/variations and national and regional market access initiatives.

Profile
Medical Advisor Specialist is a strategic role requiring the area knowledge and business understanding to identify and address relevant medical needs.
Life science degree
Proven experience in pharma industry and knowledge in cardiovascular, metabolic or secondary care expertise.
Proven knowledge of Hospital ecosystem and product access will be a plus.
Track record in idealization, development, and implementation of projects with medical value.
Critical thinking and ability to translate field insights into medical information, able to support medical strategic plan development and pre-launch stages.
Evidence of effective team working within support areas (evidence generation, marketing, others).
Proven track record to get along with internal and external customers.
Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
