About the Role
At AstraZeneca, we’re building a future where healthcare systems are innovative, inclusive, and accessible to all. We’re looking for a Health Innovation Partner with experience in hospital settings, particularly in public healthcare, to help us bring technology-driven solutions to life. You will work closely with AstraZeneca’s brand teams and hospital stakeholders to deliver transformative projects that address critical patient needs.

This role gives you the opportunity to drive meaningful change in healthcare systems, ensuring patients—no matter who they are or where they live—receive high-quality care.

What You Will Do

  • Build Relationships That Make a Difference: Partner with AstraZeneca’s brand teams and hospital stakeholders to align solutions with their diverse needs, both short- and long-term.

  • Lead Collaborative Projects: Work with cross-functional, inclusive teams to design and deliver technology projects. Monitor progress through clear metrics, encouraging feedback from all collaborators.

  • Ensure Impact and Scalability: Assess the real-world impact of solutions, identify risks, and explore opportunities to scale projects for broader use.

  • Champion Innovative Solutions: Advocate for new ideas and technologies that are accessible, sustainable, and deliver tangible value for patients and healthcare professionals.

  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Identify emerging technologies, startups, and healthcare innovations that reflect diverse and equitable opportunities.

  • Contribute Globally: Engage with the AZ Network of Transforming Care, sharing solutions and lessons learned to empower teams across regions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience delivering technology-driven solutions with measurable outcomes in healthcare systems.

  • A proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Success in developing business cases and securing resources for high-impact, innovative projects.

  • Strong communication skills—able to simplify technical concepts and present them in a way that connects with everyone.

  • Background in healthcare, ideally within hospital settings, with awareness of healthcare challenges and opportunities.

  • Ability to problem-solve, adapt quickly, and navigate changing business priorities.

  • A collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork, feedback, and results.

  • Awareness of emerging IT trends and tools that can reduce barriers to care and improve healthcare equity.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in business, healthcare, or a related field.

  • Experience in the biopharma industry or working with healthcare systems globally.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Power BI, PowerApps, and Excel.

  • Experience collaborating across diverse, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.
