Introduction to role:

Are you ready to make a significant impact on patient lives by ensuring access to innovative medicines? As a Field Market Access Manager, you will execute market access strategies to expand access across multiple channels. You will strategically engage with payers and high-profile decision-makers, including Health Authorities and HCPs involved in pricing and reimbursement decisions. Your role will involve understanding target customers' concerns, analyzing insights to identify opportunities, and addressing unmet needs to tackle access challenges. With your effective communication skills, you will persuasively convey the value proposition of AZ medicines, emphasizing both clinical and economic benefits to support reimbursement.

Accountabilities:

- Deeply understand the value proposition of identified products.
- Execute payer engagement and market access strategy to effectively reach out to target key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Market Access team and cross-functional teams, including Commercial and Medical teams, to strategically engage key stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Build strong advocacy and network relationships with high-level stakeholders and relevant parties to endorse and accelerate reimbursement.
- Demonstrate agility at work, adapting quickly to align with access strategy and business priorities.
- Effectively prioritize account projects/initiatives that address changing customer and market requirements; present business cases for opportunity evaluation.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years’ commercial experience in pharmaceuticals, including experience engaging with key decision-makers at different levels, preferably at the national level.
- Agility at work and learning, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently.
- Effective communication skills, specifically in influencing, negotiating, problem-solving, and handling difficult conversations.
- A sense of urgency and a bold mindset.
- Competent in necessary customer-facing skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Prior experience in Market Access, KAM, or Commercial, preferably in FLSM.
- Ambition to make a significant contribution to the organization.
- Passion for making a positive impact on patients' lives.
