AZ Next Leader, Thailand
AZ Next Leader is a dynamic 36-month rotational program tailored for recent MBA graduates with less than five years of professional experience. We are on the lookout for ambitious individuals who are enthusiastic about making a meaningful contribution to the pharmaceutical industry and are dedicated to enhancing patient care while driving positive business impact. We are seeking high-performing team players who are eager to embrace learning and growth and are fully committed to forging a successful career in the pharmaceutical sector.
Program Overview: Over 36 months, the development program will provide you with 3 rotations as a trainee in various areas such as Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs & Market Access.
First Rotation in Sales:
As a Medical Representative, trainees will lay a strong foundation by operating within an assigned territory and brand. This experience will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of our products, market dynamics, and customer requirements, fostering robust business acumen. This rotation will provide a hands-on understanding of the essential sales functions within the pharmaceutical industry, equipping trainees with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in subsequent rotations and contribute significantly to the organization's sales and marketing objectives.
Second Rotation in Marketing:
Building upon the solid foundational knowledge acquired as medical representatives, you will transition into the Marketing department to actively contribute to the development of impactful marketing strategies.
This rotation will empower trainees to delve into the core facets of pharmaceutical marketing, honing their ability to craft and execute impactful marketing plans while gaining crucial insights into market dynamics and regulatory considerations. The experience gained will position trainees to contribute meaningfully to the organization's marketing objectives and prepare them for leadership roles within the marketing function.
Third Rotation in People Manager:
As a People Manager, you will have the opportunity to directly supervise a group of medical representatives and take on the responsibility of delivering sales results for the entire geography. As a seasoned leader, you will be expected to share best practices and influence peers nationally.
This rotation offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced leadership and coaching skills, empowering you to drive sales performance, foster a culture of excellence, and positively impact customer behavior. The experience gained will position you as a strategic leader capable of inspiring high performance and driving meaningful change within the sales team, preparing you for broader leadership roles within the organization.
Your Development Journey:
The program is designed to assist you in recognizing and enhancing your innate strengths, skills, and interests while also facilitating your growth as a future commercial leader. We are committed to nurturing your potential and cultivating a rewarding career path. Throughout the rotations, trainees will engage in a structured program supported by an encouraging line manager and a personal mentor. Additionally, there will be numerous opportunities for networking and socializing. We also provide access to professional training programs and the chance to collaborate within a successful team. This role is in Bangkok, with potential for travel and relocation within Thailand.
The AZ Next Leader is open to all who meet the following criteria:
- Thai nationality with minimum 750 TOEIC score
- Master’s degree in MBA is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Life Sciences)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven leadership potential and ability to work effectively in teams
- Passion for the pharmaceutical industry and a drive for continuous learning
Application Timeline & Process:
1. Online Application: Submit your application in Workday by December 2024.
2. Online Assessment: On Demand Interview with 2 questions in 3 minutes (HireVue).
3. Panel Interview: Behavior Base Interview with Leadership Team
4. Assessment Centre: Group case study/presentation (January 2025)
5. Onboarding in February or March 2025.
