HR Business Partner
Scope:
Partnering with the business leaders in Iraq, the HRBP will coach and advise line managers on Human Resources issues and is responsible for driving within the assigned population programs/ projects relating to Reward, Talent Acquisition, Performance Development, Culture, People Development, Leadership effectiveness, Change management, and will play an active role in the formulation, development and implementation of relevant HR programs based on the specific needs of each BU/ function.
Job responsibilities:
- Participates in setting and executing the strategic direction of the business area when it comes to people related matters.
- Identifies the demand for the critical capabilities required to deliver the business strategy and supports the implementation of the optimum talent acquisition and talent management solutions and set a clear path for their delivery within assigned population.
- Leads and embeds change in Culture & People matters within Iraq
- Responsible for managing & supporting tasks covering a number of areas, including TAQ, compensation and benefits, performance management, leadership, performance development, people development, talent management, employee relations and change management
- Liaises with senior management to understand business requirements and proactively tailor specific solutions.
- Works across the CoEs of the HR function, seeks to ensure interventions are integrated in a consistent way that supports AZ’s organisational objectives
- Acts as primary point of contact for HR policy issues
- Coaches, supports, mentors and challenges managers in the application of HR policies and practices, provides advice and guidance on complex HR issues in order to minimise legal and compliance risk
- Drives and supports the development and delivery of cultural change plans and interventions
Minimum Criteria:
- 5+ HR Business Partnering experience is required
- Previous experience in managing reward, HR data analytics, talent management/ driving people development programs, & TAQ
- Proven ability to align business strategy with people related processes
- Proven ability to Create and develop a positive employee experience
- Earlier people management is a plus
- Strong experience with Iraq labor law & working environment
