The Medical Affairs team is looking for a Medical Affairs Team assistant (m/f) to join our office in Switzerland.

Your role is to support the Medical Affairs team in the management of the operations and processes for different projects and initiatives in accordance with existing procedures and guidelines (internal and external).
While projects vary, your typical responsibilities include:
Assistance and project oversight of different AstraZeneca’s medical initiatives (national congresses, educational events, advisory boards etc..).
You are keeping the operational oversight and track progress of complex medical projects from development to implementation and manage contractual, financial and deadline aspects.
Support the medical team in the structuring, processing, distribution, filing and archiving of documents related to different projects
Organising, coordinating, and participating at internal and external meetings and events
Active support and collaboration in projects within the x-functional teams (eg. International conferences organization)
Maintain project compliance within applicable regulations, guidelines, internal SOPs and processes. Ensure quality oversight of assigned projects so that projects can be followed up & maintain inspection-readiness.
Operational and administrative support to the Medical Affairs team such as monitoring and organizing schedule for team meetings plus follow up of identified actions.
The medical operations coordinator works in a cross functional team - agile, methodical & solution-oriented.
You should have:
Administrative working experience, preferably in the medical or pharmaceutical field.
Fluent language skills in German and good command of English
Cross-functional experience
Dealing with senior stakeholders
Come from a fast paced demanding role
Digital tools & computer skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Effective communication, project management and planning skills
Ability to work independently and to effectively prioritize tasks while working on multiple projects
Ability to establish and maintain trustful and effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, or relevant training
