ABOUT THE ROLE
Job Purpose:
The Brand Manager will play a critical role in executing the marketing strategy for CVRM portfolio in Jordan & Palestine, ensuring the development and implementation of high-quality, impactful marketing initiatives. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including HCP and Patient Marketing, Convention Planning, Promotional Speaker Training, Sales Communications, and Budget Management. The Brand Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic marketing efforts, enabling optimal patient identification and treatment across the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the overarching brand objectives for CVRM.
- Ensure timely and high-quality in-market solutions for optimal patient identification and treatment, leveraging insights from HCPs and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tactical plans, leveraging scientific expertise to drive product promotion and facilitate optimal launches.
- Build long-term partnerships with key CVRM stakeholders and decision-makers, rooted in deep scientific understanding of the products.
Key Project Management and Planning:
- Lead congress planning, including the creation of promotional materials, meeting logistics, communication, and post-event follow-up.
- Drive and manage the Promotional Speaker Program, including speaker training, material development, and communications.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials aligned with brand strategy and manage internal medical/legal/regulatory reviews.
- Ensure effective management of the brand’s budget, tracking ROI, and ensuring alignment with annual financial targets.
- Handle contracts, POs, and vendor relationships effectively to ensure project execution within budget and timelines.
Stakeholder Engagement and Market Insight:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) and stakeholders in the CVRM community.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging market trends to identify new opportunities for brand growth and innovation.
- Provide actionable brand insights to shape strategy and direction, driving the brand's success in the market.
- Collaborate with global, international, and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and strategy coherence across markets.
Diagnostics and Market Excellence:
- Support the development and evaluation of the diagnostic strategy for current and future CVRM products.
- Ensure excellence in companion/complementary diagnostics for product launches, assessing market readiness and performance.
- Generate insights from diagnostic data to shape brand strategy and propose improvement plans for diagnostic performance.
Capability Building:
- Lead educational initiatives such as congresses, meetings, and digital platforms to engage internal stakeholders and the broader CVRM community.
- Develop internal training programs for the sales team and cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product launch readiness and ongoing product education.
- Facilitate the development of speakers and provide ongoing speaker education to ensure effective communication and education for key stakeholders.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to internal policies, industry guidelines, and local regulations.
- Comply with the AZ Code of Conduct, Corporate Governance, and audit requirements.
- Safeguard confidentiality and ensure proper approvals for all marketing functions and activities.
Job Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of achievements in marketing.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a Pharmacy is a must.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Scientific experience with the ability to engage in meaningful discussions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and industry experts.
- Demonstrated project management expertise.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Strong strategic thinking, creative problem-solving skills, and a focus on achieving results and customer satisfaction.
- Solid business acumen, with experience managing and tracking marketing budgets.
Preferred Criteria:
- Experience in the CVRM therapeutic area is a plus.
- Experience in new product/indication launches and demonstrated ability to drive successful market entries.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools and leveraging digital tools in brand development and execution.
