Before the interview
- Learn more about AstraZeneca and the position you’ve applied for.
- Come prepared. Have examples to share with us that demonstrate your capabilities.
- Ask questions so you can learn more about the position, the team, and the overall company.
- Confirm the details of your interview, including who you will meet, the format, and time.
- If you perform better in a specific environment, or require adjustments to be successful in an interview, please let your Talent Acquisition Partner know. We would like to support you and create a comfortable environment where you can be at your best.
- If your assessment event is in-person consider your travel arrangements to the site. If your assessment event is virtual check that your conference connection is working and you know how to navigate it.
During the interview
- Talk about your strengths. If you have another applicable answer, don’t be afraid to mention that too!
- Pause before answering a question to gather your thoughts. You can refer to any notes that you may have to support building your answer.
- At any time you can ask the panel for clarification or to repeat before answering a question.
After the interview
- Reflect on your experience. Is there something you missed sharing that you would like to highlight to the interview team? Did you have further questions about the team?
- You can send a follow-up note of thanks including your additional reflections.
- Take some time to consider the next steps, which may include a follow-up interview or offer negotiation.
- Should your contact details change, please keep AstraZeneca informed via your candidate portal or the Talent Acquisition Team.
