About the programme

Clinical Pharmacology and Safety Sciences is a large department that covers the entire scientific portfolio.

From non-clinical safety work through to clinical dose optimisation, our scientists are involved all along the development pathway from bench to prescription.

How does the programme work?

This 3 year apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn and work in a Global company alongside industry experts.

You’ll be studying a level 7 (masters) in Clinical Pharmacology, which is funded by us and 20% of your time will be spent on your studies.

  • Enthusiastic individuals who are keen to learn and with a genuine curiosity for the science involved in creating new medicines.
  • Able to act independently but also to work and contribute in a team environment
  • Good organisational skills with an excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work on multiple tasks and understanding how to prioritise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
