How long have you worked at AstraZeneca and What do you like most about your job?
8 years. I enjoy that the day-to-day is never the same, ability to streamline and standardize global processes, opportunities to make my career what I want it to become.
What do you like to do when you aren't working?
Travel around the world and spoil my ‘puppy’ (9 year old Lab/Husk dog).
Fun fact about you that people may not know?
I am level 7 in indoor sky diving.
What’s your work/life balance experience been at AZ?
Flexible and working for managers that empower me to speak up when I have other things going on and need to be remote or just turn off my work mind set has been great.
How do you network with other women both inside and outside of AZ?
A member of Women As Leaders this year and joined the Network of Women (NOW), I do keep in contact with them via Workplace or even catch up over coffee on a monthly basis.
What would you like other women to know about joining AZ as a new employee?
You can make your career whatever you want it to be. Know that AZ promotes diversity and does include employees in events, townhalls and communications. Take advantage of all that is offered and don’t sit back for these opportunities to be brought to you.
