What’s your name, job title and how long have you worked at AZ?
Marisa McCrosson, Senior Warehouse Facilitator and I’ve been here for 8 years.
What do you like most about your job?
I manage a team of 16 people and love getting to interact with each of them every day. The Newark Site feels like a big family and it is great to see everyone coming together to accomplish goals and solve problems each and every day.
Do you have family and/or pets?
A husband, Tom, and a Labradoodle named Bunker. We have a baby on the way due in December 2019. 😊
What would you like other women to know about joining AZ as a new employee?
I have been working at AstraZeneca for 8 years and cannot imagine working anywhere else. I have held 7 different roles in my time here and have always felt that if you work hard enough opportunities will present themselves. There is so much room for growth and development at this company and I have always felt supported by leadership to pursue the various opportunities that I have come across.
What has been your favorite memory while at AstraZeneca?
I was very fortunate to have an international assignment in the UK during 2013. It was a year of great personal and professional growth for me and really helped to shape me as a young professional.
