Introduction to the Role

Are you ready to take yourSAP EWMexpertise to the next level? In thisSenior SAP EWM Functional Consultantrole, the focus is on end-to-end ownership of EWM solutions in anS/4HANAenvironment, from initial solution design through to deployment and support. The position spans all aspects of warehouse movements and inventory, working closely with cross-functional teams and collaborators, and involves shift-based and flexible work schedules. Expect to shape how advanced warehouse capabilities support a complex, global supply chain, while influencing how digital technology transforms operations!

Accountabilities

As anSAP EWMexpert, you will facilitate workshops to collect business requirements, perform detailed analysis of business processes, and implement the business solutions. You will also handle data migration withSAP S/4HANAMigration Cockpit.

  • End-to-End Delivery: Own the configuration, testing, and deployment of EWM solutions, ensuring seamless integration with MM, SD, PP, and QM.
  • Global Support & Mentorship: Engage with global stakeholders across time zones (including flexible shift work) and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Continuous Innovation: Stay current onS/4HANAcapabilities and bring forward new ideas and proof-of-concepts that challenge the status quo.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • EWM Experience: Overall 4+ Years of EWM Experience of which 2 implementations and multiple Support/Rollout Projects in EWM.
  • Domain Expertise: Expertise in the respective business domain and on SAP EWM with S/4HANA.
  • Implementation Lifecycle: SAP EWM implementation / roll-out experience from design to completion of deployment.
  • System Integration: Good knowledge on SAP Warehouse management and its integration with MM, PP & QM.
  • Configuration Design: Track record of delivering SAP configuration design.
  • Certification: Certification in SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse management (EWM).
  • Process Knowledge: Good process knowledge of EWM processes like Inbound, Outbound, Internal warehouse movements, Production staging, physical inventory etc.
  • Warehouse Setup: Should have hands on experience in setting up warehouse set up with POSC, LOSC, WOCR, Wave picking, PPF etc.
  • Pharma Supply Chain: Experience of Pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area.
  • Multi-functional Skills: Multi-functional solution skills on SAP EWM integration with MM, SD, PP, & QM functions.
  • PPF Configuration: Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM.
  • Master Data Management: Experience in creation of Master Data i.e. Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Interpersonal Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc.
  • Communication: Able to work across the program team and communicate to business and IT terms.
  • Agility: Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open attitude.
  • Continuous Learning: Keeps self, up to date on latest S/4 technologies and functionalities.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a Team.
  • Presentation Skills: Good communication and presentation skills, a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, demonstrated personal credibility and positive energy.
  • Delivery Under Pressure: Able to deliver large work efforts and meet exciting deadlines.
  • Problem Solving: Able to think out of the box, thrive in ambiguous and stressful situations.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Cross-Module Knowledge: Knowledge on SAP MM, SAP TM and SAP ABAP Debugging.
  • Greenfield Implementation: Involved in 2 full life cycle S/4HANA greenfield Implementation of Decentralized EWM.
  • Mobile Technologies: Experience in SAP Mobile Technologies Implementations using: SAP Console/ITS Mobile/IOS app/ RFID for Radio Frequency Framework Solution design.
  • Hybrid Environments: Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations.
  • Non-SAP Technologies: Knowledge of non-SAP technologies in the relevant line of business eg WCS, AGV, MES, QCLIMS.
  • Interface Development: Experience In Interface Development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services).
  • Testing Exposure: Exposure to testing tools.
  • Change Management: Jira and Solution Manager for handling Organizational Change process as a User.
  • Data Migration: Data Migration with SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
  • Methodology Awareness: Awareness about SAP Activate, EML, Agile, JIRA, SAP Solution Manager, BPML & Testing Tools.
