About The role

  • Ensure optimum performance and stability for the Procurement applications (P2P Process) for AstraZeneca Operations, including providing workarounds and identifying areas for improvement or solutions to permanently address the issue.
  • Handle 2nd/ 3rd line support of P2P process/Coupa (technical and functional queries)
  • Work with vendor to fix defects and small enhancements relating to application and platform, complying with Astra Zeneca standards, and change control procedures.
  • Take ownership of issues through delivery, issue resolution, and escalation, as appropriate
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders including users, infrastructure/middleware teams, 3rd party software vendors to resolve issues and potential process improvements.
  • Ensures that the IT Service Delivery Framework is adhered to by support.
  • Ensures that the application operates within and complies with any regulatory, financial, or internal AstraZeneca standards (GxP, SOx).  
  • Flexible to work in shifts.

Mandatory skills:

  • 3+ years of prior experience in application support and maintenance (L2/L3 support) in Coupa/P2P.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes across Sourcing, Contracts Management, Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Performance Management and Enterprise integration with SAP.
  • Ability to support and manage incidents/tickets queue, requests, changes, or defects for Ariba On-Demand
  • Understanding of incident, problem, change, and release management process.
  • Experienced with IT Service management tools like Service Now, Remedy, or Service Manager
  • Experience working with third-party vendor applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to multiple systems and support multiple business groups.
  • Good attitude and interpersonal skills. Quick learner.

Desired skill:

  • Familiarity with life sciences (Pharma) domain concepts, workflow and terminology
  • Coupa/P2P certification
  • Experience in the procurement domain
  • Mindset to support business-critical applications

UG - B. Tech /B.E. or other equivalent technical qualifications

Location: Guadalajara (hybrid - Expectation of working in the office 3 days a week)
