Join us as a Senior Director, Access & Precision Medicine - South and lead a highly skilled team seeking to drive performance of AZ’s robust and growing oncology portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a wide-ranging customer group with the primary focus on the most critical organizational customers including NCCN cancer centers, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Community Oncology Center's, and Pathway organizations.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will oversee teams’ efforts in delivering expected results across accounts, develop strategic approaches and lead efforts with the team to address appropriate product and diagnostic pathway inclusion with identified organizations. You will also ensure training and development of team members, including coaching and development based on direct and indirect observation of performance.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years Pharma and/or other healthcare related experience
  • Prior Oncology experience with in-depth understanding of business and operational aspects of health systems.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with and influence peers and management.
  • Proven strategic planning capabilities and project management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to optimally communicate, collaborate and coordinate in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and situational leadership.
  • Understanding of financial concepts and contracting
  • Prior experience in a pharma commercial function

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • MBA or Advanced Degree
  • Demonstrated negotiating capability.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Oncology clinical science including proficiency in translating clinical outcomes and health economic data into customer value.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing others within the organization.
  • Diagnostic experience
  • Prior Market Access/channel experience
