Location: Warsaw
Hybrid Model: 3 days per week from office

Axial will be powered by S/4HANA a new Enterprise Resource Planning system which will be implemented across the organisation. We will be transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain, from bench to patient.
The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily and will be central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally.
The Axial Insights & Analysis team is leading the roadmap and delivery of analytics and AI delivery from an end-user perspective.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with multiple business teams and senior leaders within Finance groups, to drive the business requirements gathering, learn existing challenges, and business opportunities.
- Work with our delivery partners to make sure the Axial program is writing functional and technical specifications at scale and pace, to a high quality.
- Lead the integration of analytics and AI into business processes, where possible automating decision making.
- Prepare rich content for workshops and communicate findings to gain alignment on business analytics needs.
- Assess needs and able to recommend analytical solutions leaning towards the standard fits in SAP Analytic Stack
- Staying updated with the latest developments in the SAP analytics landscape
- Contribute to the overall end to end Analytics lifecycle by providing expertise and reviewing various deliverables throughout the program.
Essential Qualifications:
- Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of Analytics projects
- Considerable experience and exposure to one or more business processes in Finance: Procurement, Record to Report, Tax & Treasury etc.
- Experience working on a Financial Planning system like SAC, Hyperion etc.
- Knowledge of processes within Planning and Management Reporting Area
- Experience in working with large and sophisticated data sets in commonly used BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or similar tools.
- Strong drive to learn new concepts in business processes, tools and applications.
- Experience working in large scale transformation programs.
- Knowledge of the finance business processes
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in one or more full S/4 HANA implementation cycle/s in Analytics using embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud and understanding of SAP B/W4 HANA or SAP Datasphere
- Regulatory experience, e.g. GxP and SOx.
- Exposure to more than one of the SAP modules such as: FI & CO. Technical or configurations skills are not required for this position.
- Familiarity with data science, AI/ML concepts and use cases in Finance.
- Bio-Tech, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience.
- UX experience.
- Certifications in SAP, Project Management, Business Intelligence, Data Management, Lean Framework or Finance.
- Experience in large scale, complex & multi-year projects.
