International Payroll Senior Specialist

Typical Accountabilities- Coordinating payroll process related to international assignees, including working with EY and other third-party providers to produce accurate payroll instructions and working with payroll vendors to ensure correct payroll delivery.
- Ensuring an up-to-date and accurate database of international assignee compensation data is maintained and relevant data provided to key stakeholders and third parties as required.
- Collaborating with other internal AZ HR functions to ensure successful service delivery, particularly International Experience and local payroll teams.
- Ensuring compliance of payroll for international assignees with both internal and external requirements.
- Managing global and IA, complex tier 3 payroll incidents and complaints – reviewing and solving actions and escalating either internally or externally as appropriate.
- Acting as an expert resource and problem solver within the global payroll area, specifically for international assignment payroll.
- Acting as a control owner for relevant HR processes, identifying and performing audits as necessary.
- Ensuring all service level agreements are met with respect to time and accuracy etc.
- Oversee the delivery of one or more HR activities and programs, including payroll, compensation and benefits, training, employee performance, international assignments and HR systems.
- Act as an HR specialist in a specific technical area, offering expert advice or leading project delivery within that domain.
- Collaborate with management to understand business priorities and customize HR support to meet local requirements.
- Regularly review HR processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose recommendations for change.
- Oversee the delivery of HR services while ensuring adherence to the departmental budget.
- Mentor junior staff and serves as a key point of reference within their area of expertise.
