About the program
The Working in Science Internship Program is designed for last year's students and recent graduates who want to apply what they’ve learned in a real, global biotechnology environment. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, gain mentorship, and develop skills that set you up for future success.
Department description:
We are part Global Business Services which is responsible for delivery key services to the company. In our HR Advisory team, we do support employees and managers with their HR related queries, proceeding HR aspects as per the labour code, as well as enabling tech-solutions to our customers, pioneering new approach toward HR (AI agents, self-service etc).
General hiring requirements
Having interest in local HR operations aspects
Willingness to learn and work with HR policies and procedures
Ggood level of communication with customers
Ability to use technology and AI solutions in daily work
Demonstrating tech-mindset & continues improvement approach
Self-starter and fast-lerner
Required skills, candidate background:
Customer service experience
Any HR-related experience will be an asset
Good English is a must
Any additional language German, Swedish is a plus

Eligibility: Final year students and recent graduates. Please review the specific requirements for each role.
Duration: 3 months, starting in July.
Working model: Hybrid, with partial on‑site presence.
Selection process: Application review against objective criteria, HireVue video responses, then a remote meeting with the recruiting team.
Timeline: Apply by 21 March 2026. Results by mid-April.
Important information
Completion of the internship does not guarantee contract extension or further employment at AstraZeneca. Future opportunities may be advertised separately and require a new application.
