Digital Scientist, Associate Director, Evinova

Are you ready to lead and drive science-led, evidence-driven innovation opportunities? We are looking for a Digital Scientist to transform the experience of our customers including patients, care-participants, and clinical teams. This role is pivotal in identifying and bridging knowledge gaps, identifying digital tools for clinical decision support, and defining procedures for medical devices.

Accountabilities:

As a Digital Scientist, you will engage with collaborators to inform ground-breaking solutions, identify global experts and organizations, collaborate with multi-disciplinary partners to deliver strategies that use digital technology, foster an agile mindset, champion human centricity, and maintain knowledge of the digital healthcare landscape.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced degree with a strong quantitative and/or qualitative background (Master’s or above in Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmaceutical, Medical or related fields)
  • Recognized as a subject matter authority with technical expertise with digital and patient-centered research methods
  • More than 7 years of experience in the design, implementation, analyses, and value generation of quantitative and qualitative evidence in digital health
  • Ability to lead and influence strategically and persuade thoughtfully
  • Strong influencing and senior stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, take ownership and holds self and others accountable
  • Enthusiasm for finding innovative ways to apply research findings to complex, real-world contexts
  • Highly efficient: able to navigate ambiguity and solve problems in a fast-paced environment; able to influence without authority
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape governing research with human subjects
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with RWD/RWE generation and data visualization technologies/tools
  • Experience with clinical outcomes assessments to support evidence generation including development, validation, implementation or interpretation.
  • Expertise in how and why people make decisions and applying this knowledge to guide teams in improving user’s experience in clinical settings
  • Experience with Human Factors testing, behavioral and/or social science projects to inform risk assessment and solution evaluation of digital solution including software as a medical device
  • Experience with systems design; can interpret the moving pieces in a complex system and identify high-impact opportunities for intervention
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry with understanding of drug development process
