What you’ll do

As Oncology Franchise Lead, Baltics, you will be a key leader in our Oncology Business Unit with full accountability for the commercialization, profitable growth and lifecycle management of your entrusted brand/therapeutic area. You will set the vision and strategy, own the P&L, and drive performance to achieve revenue and financial targets. You will coach, inspire and develop a high-performing cross-functional team, foster collaboration across Medical, Market Access, Diagnostics and Sales, and ensure every decision is compliant and truly patient focused.

Key responsibilities

  • Business performance and P&L ownership: Lead the commercial strategy and execution for your brand/TA, owning forecasts, market analysis, and targets delivery. Monitor and present monthly sales & spend with clear rationale and insights behind performance.
  • (Pre)launch excellence: Own long-term disease area strategy and launch readiness across the Baltic cluster. Focus the organization on launch execution, partnering closely with KAM/TAM/Medical Advisors/Diagnostic lead on account strategies aligned to franchise objectives. Upscale omnichannel engagement and champion Digital/AI/GenAI initiatives to maximize impact.
  • External partnerships: Spend up to 30% in the field to strengthen our Oncology leadership and expand our external network. Build high-value relationships with external experts, scientific societies, cooperative groups, and health decision makers. Contribute to cross-brand and above-brand initiatives, leveraging TA synergies across the cluster and region.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Model cross-functional leadership and align Sales and Marketing with Medical, Access and Diagnostics at country, cluster and regional levels to deliver ambitious, collaborative outcomes.
  • Above-Baltic impact: Build and leverage regional networks in the entrusted franchise stream for experience sharing and wider projects that accelerate performance and best-practice adoption.
  • People and capability building: Develop the team’s capabilities through Marketing/Sales frameworks, TA knowledge-building, and individual development plans. Provide regular coaching, close gaps, and role-model continuous learning in science, products and professional responsibilities.
  • Compliance and ethics: Ensure all activities comply with our Code of Ethics, Global External Interactions Policy and Standards, and Privacy Standards, including training completion and proactive issue escalation. Foster a speak-up culture and ensure your team and partners uphold compliance expectations, including data privacy and, where applicable, GxP requirements.

Your profile

  • University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Science
  • Leadership experience in pharma/biotech with accountability for delivering business goals
  • Broad commercial experience across the brand lifecycle, including pre-launch, launch execution, HTA validation, and long-term planning
  • Deep understanding of Oncology therapy area
  • Strong grasp of evolving healthcare commercialization models and future trends
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead and deliver through high-performing teams
  • Proven experience engaging a wide range of external partners and customers (experts, prescribers, payers, providers etc.)
  • P&L management experience with the ability to build a compelling financial narrative
  • Familiarity with key regulations in pharmaceutical compliance and commercialization
  • Proficiency in English, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driving license

Desirable

  • Additional regional experience across multi-country operations
  • Track record in omnichannel and digital transformation within commercial teams
