Typical Accountabilities
• Gathers external business market information and internal tacit knowledge and advise Recruitment Partners about specific needs and opportunities to support staffing plans and functional requirements• Recommends marketing and recruitment sources, professional/educational institutions, job fairs, web sites, publications, specialist search consultants and researchers• Implements sourcing, campus recruitment and Asia Area talent project plans, including Management Trainee programmes, campus activities, hackathons or other cross-market early talent initiatives, to support market talent needs and build long-term talent pipelines• Reviews and advises on recruitment campaign plans including selection criteria, candidate sources, timelines, and diversity• Develops and implements comprehensive talent search, engagement and participation strategies for specific hiring, campus and Asia Area cross-market talent projects• Identifies target companies and markets to develop new prospective candidate leads• Uses the full range of Internet search tools to identify and attract candidates• Works with researchers and other external agencies to develop and identify appropriate candidates paying particular attention to the large passive population• As appropriate, uses Internet job postings to identify and attract candidates• Actively seeks out and utilizes other sources of candidates as appropriate. E.g. alumni groups• Ensures effective candidate relationship management (CRM) to support the external talent pools• Coaches and shares innovative sourcing interventions, techniques to gather external business market information, and candidate relationship management initiatives with Recruitment Partners• Identifies qualified candidates and determine the relevant strength and fitness of the candidates in the pool to meet business needs. Refer the best-qualified candidates to Recruitment Partner along with screening results• Maintains and advises on candidate pool data, selection process, costs and documentation of resources and effectiveness of process and tools• Provides information to candidates during screening and selection process so that the best candidates are enthused by the prospect of working for AstraZeneca• Ensures that candidates are fully informed about process steps, background checks and other pre-employment requirements• Works with line managers, Recruitment Partners and Asia Area HR teams to understand future talent needs across markets, develop sourcing, campus recruitment and cross-market talent project strategies, and build sustainable external and early talent pipelines
