Typical Accountabilities- Act as the subject matter expert for the therapeutic area, delivering critical insights and supporting high-quality medical engagement with healthcare professionals.- Define, deliver, and refine tailored training programs for both internal (sales/commercial) and external (healthcare provider, institutional) audiences to ensure accurate knowledge transfer and support optimal product use.- Implement and uphold standards, policies, and procedures for field medical operations, fostering efficiency and adherence to internal and industry guidelines.- Develop and nurture robust external and internal relationships to facilitate scientific exchange and maintain credibility with healthcare stakeholders.- Initiate, support, or lead specialized research projects and internal reporting, delivering actionable insights to support both field and sales functions.- Remain current with scientific literature, industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure that field activities are relevant and compliant.- Champion a culture of continuous learning, capability development, and compliance within the Medical Affairs team.Qualifications and SkillsEssential: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with ongoing professional development; Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with in-depth experience in medical science liaison roles; Strong relationship management skills and ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders; Awareness of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, compliance, and relevant legislation across markets.Desirable: Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, Pharm D or equivalent); Proven success managing projects or teams in scientific or medical affairs environments; Demonstrated ability to deliver medical training programs.Key Relationship to Reach SolutionsInternal: Field Medical Liaison team; Medical Affairs; Commercial/Brand Teams; Market Access; Compliance; Regulatory Affairs.External: Key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals; External service providers; Regulatory authorities (as needed); Professional societies and relevant healthcare organizations.
