Description

  • Develop and support strategic business planning in close collaboration with brand teams and Business Units.
  • Analyze and synthesize internal and external data to generate actionable, decision-oriented insights for business planning and performance management.
  • Act as a Business Insights partner, communicating findings, implications, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor BI colleagues on data processing logic, analytical approaches, and dashboard optimization, ensuring consistency, clarity, and business relevance of outputs (without direct people management responsibility).
  • Define dashboard objectives, KPI frameworks, and insight storytelling principles, while collaborating with BI Analysts who own dashboard build and maintenance using Power BI and other analytical tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to define BI-ready data requirements, including internal and external data profiling, data structure, granularity, and integration logic, to enable meaningful insight generation.
  • Support cross-functional and cross-BU discussions on market research topics, including framing business questions, interpreting results, and translating insights into strategic and budget allocation recommendations.
  • Support pre- and post-launch strategies for pharmaceutical products through performance tracking, insight interpretation, and portfolio prioritization.
  • Support the portfolio prioritization process within brand teams and in alignment with Therapeutic Area (TA) priorities.

Essential

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and insight-framing capability.
  • Proven ability to support and mentor analysts on data handling, analytics logic, and dashboard best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI (experience with R or similar analytical tools is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business mindset.
  • Solid understanding of forecasts, budgeting, financial processes and tools, and project management skills.

Desirable

  • MBA or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Background experience in market research, including insight interpretation and application.
  • Experience working with data engineering or data platform teams is a plus.
