Join us as a Senior IT Program Manager, where you will be steering projects and programs to success in a fast-paced and sophisticated environment. This role is not just about managing projects; it's about delivering solutions that profoundly impact AstraZeneca patients' needs. You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of projects and programs within allocated budget and timeline, ensuring the use of adequate project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

What you’ll do:
As a Senior IT Program Manager, you will manage medium to large programs and projects with high visibility and impact to the core business. Your responsibilities will include strategic management of all aspects of the project (scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks). It will be your responsibility to ensure that all activities are aligned with the business goals and organizational values. You will also identify, mitigate, and reassess project risks and issues, provide regular updates to senior leadership and involved stakeholders, and ensure team’s motivation and engagement.

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree (technical or business)

- At least one formal certification/training on project management methodologies

- Proficiency managing strategically each of the project typical areas: scope, budget, risk, resources and quality

- Strategic mindset for planning and decision making

- Extensive experience working in global organizations, leading globally disperse teams and stakeholders

- Broad experience managing end-to-end medium to large projects

- Proven experience managing demanding deadlines and business goals

- Experience leading IT projects (platform integrations, infrastructure, IT/OT, etc.)

- Prior experience working in manufacturing, supply chain and quality domains as an SME

- Superb communication skills, including experience dealing with diverse teams

- Conflict management and negotiation skills

- High flexibility and resilient style of leadership, prior experience acting as people manager

- Comfortable working with ambiguity

- Experience leading teams through change

- Experience leading the technical teams in their way to shaping immature demands into structured or introducing new technologies or scaling existent solutions

- Proficiency in managing relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring deliverables meet requirements and expectations

Desirable skills/experiences:

- Master’s degree in a related field

- Additional certifications in project management methodologies

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

- Experience with Agile methodologies
