Background & Qualifications

  • Being a 3rd / 4th year undergraduate student or a 1st year post graduate student in an accredited university
  • Able to work minimum 2,5 days availability per week
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Competent in MS Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Being able to accommodate in Istanbul during the intenship period
  • High degree of analytical thinking skills and the ability to analyze,
  • Having excellent communication skills
  • Customer and result-oriented.
  • Preferably long-term internship

Purpose

  • Support pricing, reimbursement, and market access activities for pipeline/new and in-market products by providing operational, analytical, and documentation assistance, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant submissions and updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Price Application Support: Prepare and organize documentation for new product price applications and price change submissions; maintain application checklists and timelines; track data gaps, approvals, and deadlines to ensure on‑time submission in line with regulations.
  • Reference Price Monitoring: Regularly track reference prices, equivalent bands, copays, and competitor price movements; consolidate information from official lists and announcements into up‑to‑date trackers, dashboards, and brief summaries for the team.
  • Analyses and Reporting: Conduct basic trend analyses, sanity checks, sensitivity scenarios (e.g., price ±x%, volume ±y%), and impact summaries (payer budget, patient copay); draft weekly/monthly reports and executive one‑pagers for internal stakeholders.
  • Reimbursement Dossier Support: Assist in preparing reimbursement submission files by compiling evidence on clinical benefits, health outcomes, and economic value; perform literature searches, organize references, and format annexes according to templates and regulatory requirements.
  • Policy and Regulation Tracking: Monitor changes in pricing, reimbursement, and health policy regulations; summarize risks and opportunities, prepare short briefing notes, and draft internal communications to inform relevant departments.
  • Internal and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support meeting scheduling, agendas, minutes, and action tracking with brand, finance, corporate affairs, regional/international, and global teams; follow up to close actions and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Data Quality and Archiving: Maintain accurate records, trackers, and shared folders; ensure version control, naming conventions, and documentation completeness for audit-readiness and knowledge continuity.
  • Competitive and Therapeutic Area Scanning: Track reimbursement statuses and price changes of products in the same treatment area; prepare concise competitive landscape summaries and risk/mitigation notes for high‑risk situations.
  • Budget Cycle Support: Support budget cycle processes for consolidating and delivering price assumptions and updates for new and existing products to finance during budget periods; check consistency with latest policy changes and portfolio plans.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline trackers, templates, and review workflows; propose small process enhancements to improve timeliness and quality.
