Our Singapore Marketing Company (SGMC) is responsible for the marketing of our medicines in Singapore. Here you’ll also find colleagues from AstraZeneca’s corporate functions and our Asia and International regions’ sales and marketing teams. What you’ll do
Responsible for any HTA related assignments along with pricing governance across public and private channels
Understand payer stakeholder profiles, needs and external health environment and trends, including competitive landscape and impact of government health policies on AZ’s business
Collaborate with government, insurance (incl. private), industry and healthcare partners, leveraging conventional and innovative approaches to drive optimal access to medicines
Set and achieve the most favourable pricing and reimbursement conditions for products, moving through the steps of local price and reimbursement negotiation/process
Build long-term professional relationships with payers and payer stakeholders that develop into collaborative partnerships and deliver tailored value propositions in line with AstraZeneca business priorities
Conduct activities that will help to shape future changes in the healthcare environment to ensure patient access to AstraZeneca products where and when they need them and at a fair price
Develop a structured story that describes how the AstraZeneca brand will address the needs of the relevant payer archetypes, the supporting evidence and value to the payer
Integrate the Market Access plan into the brand planning process to ensure consistency of commercial and Market Access priorities across the organisation
Essential for the role
Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably life science-related or Health Economics
Minimum 5 years of successful track record in market access in the pharmaceutical industry
Knowledge of pricing and reimbursement, health economics, real-world evidence, medical, or regulatory
Ability to understand business priorities and payers’ needs.
Able to engage and influence internal & external stakeholders
Innovative and strategic thinking.
Strong analytical and communication skills
Good-networker “the go between” who can operate in a cross-functional environment.
Collaborative & cross-functional team working skills to coordinate and influence multiple teams (commercial, medical, market access)
Able to understand and adapt to customers’ agenda.
Desirable for the role
Relations with political authorities and governments, professional associates
