What you'll do
As a Sales Representative with us, you’ll sell life-changing medicines within one of four therapeutic areas: Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic, and other diseases. Using your exceptional selling skills and personable attitude, you’ll build strong and strategic partnerships with healthcare providers across your territory – from clinicians and pharmacists to nurses and consultants.
The part you play in our business will be challenging, yet rewarding, requiring you to use your resilient, collaborative and diplomatic skillsets to make connections. The majority of your work will be field based, and will require you to be highly-organised, planning your monthly schedule, attending meetings and calls, as well as writing up reports.

What you’ll do
Your marketplace insights and patient focus will shape and drive strategic commercial plans for the product lifecycle, ensure execution of the brand plan and develop clear country value propositions for patients and healthcare professions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Marketing (approximately 30%):
- Insight generation to shape and direct strategic marketing actions & plans for adequate product lifecycle management.
- Assists and ensures a successful execution of the brand plan for long-term brand success.
- Assists with the development of budgets and monitoring of expenses.
- Assist in developing new product launch plans.
- Develops materials to support effective sales and marketing efforts.
- Propose innovative solutions around customer engagement through various channels.
Sales (approximately 70%):
- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations
- Engage Haematologists/medical oncologists in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to initiate the treatment for appropriate patients.
- Work with Commercial Lead to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, access, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
Others:
- Project manager for select strategic projects.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid Class 3/3A driving license.
- An accessible vehicle can be used for field work on a daily basis; this can be an self-owned, family or a leased vehicle.
- Minimum of 2 years’ pharmaceutical sales experience
- Excellent operational skills and ability to think strategically.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, organised, results-oriented and independent.
- Broad understanding of the commercial, operational, and strategic aspects of the pharmaceutical business
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in Specialty care or Oncology.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capability
- Brand management experience in the pharma industry
- Experience in utilizing latest digital tools & trends to improve customer reach & engagement.
