Pricing Manager - CAMCAR
We are looking for an experienced Pricing Manager to lead the pricing governance, strategy, and execution agenda across CAMCAR. This role plays a critical part in ensuring sustainable and competitive pricing decisions while maintaining alignment with global and local pricing policies, market access objectives, and business priorities.
The Pricing Manager will act as a strategic partner across the organization, driving pricing excellence through cross-functional collaboration, strong governance, and data-driven decision making. This position ensures pricing processes are compliant, traceable, patient-centered, and designed to maximize value and access across the cluster.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pricing Strategy & Governance
Lead the implementation and execution of CAMCAR Pricing Policy and governance framework.
Ensure alignment across Business Units and cross-functional teams with Pricing SOPs and established operating models.
Drive compliance with pricing policies and ensure readiness for updates, controls, and audit requirements.
Align local pricing decisions with Global Pricing strategies and corporate guidelines.
Ensure adherence to floor price requirements, internal controls, and local regulations.
2. Pricing Process Management
Evaluate pricing scenarios considering market dynamics, competition, reimbursement environment, and macroeconomic conditions.
Consolidate and assess pricing proposals across countries, channels, brands, and SKUs.
Lead review and validation processes for institutional market opportunities including tenders, direct purchasing, and value-based proposals.
Assess commercial conditions including discounts, bonuses, and pricing exceptions.
3. Business Cases & Approval Governance
Own and continuously improve pricing submission and approval processes across CAMCAR.
Develop pricing strategies based on clinical and economic product value in partnership with Business Units.
Review and validate pricing business cases ensuring compliance with pricing policies and strategic priorities.
Coordinate approvals with Finance Business Partners, CFO, Global Pricing teams (GPI), and other governance stakeholders.
Ensure full documentation, traceability, and audit readiness of pricing decisions.
4. New Products & Lifecycle Management
Lead launch pricing strategy and implementation for new products.
Coordinate alignment with Global Pricing teams where required.
Manage price adjustments, reductions, lifecycle changes, and pricing exceptions.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the central point of contact across Commercial, Finance, Market Access, Marketing, Legal, and Global teams.
Align stakeholders on pricing governance, execution processes, and decision-making frameworks.
Maintain continuous awareness of pricing regulations and ensure internal communication and interpretation of changes.
Provide pricing guidance and strategic support to Business Units and commercial teams.
6. Commercial Agreements & Value Proposals
Support the development and validation of pricing components for commercial agreements and value-based proposals.
Ensure alignment between pricing strategy, market access objectives, and customer needs.
Key Requirements
Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Health Sciences, or related fields.
3–5 years of experience in Pricing, Market Access, Finance, Commercial Strategy, or related functions.
Strong understanding of healthcare systems across CAMCAR countries.
High analytical capability and strategic mindset.
Proven experience working in cross-functional environments.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience managing institutional markets and tender processes.
Knowledge of Global Pricing methodologies and governance frameworks.
Additional Expectations
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, pricing governance standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Support GxP responsibilities when applicable, including training completion and timely reporting requirements.
Promote adherence to Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) standards and workplace procedures.
Comply with Conflict of Interest policies and remediation actions when applicable.
