Head of Human Resources
About the Role As theHead of HR, CAMCAR Cluster, you will shape the people strategy across Central America and the Caribbean, building a high‑performance, inclusive culture that fuels growth. You will :
- Develop and implement the people strategy for Camcar Cluster marketing company that is aligned with the organization’s vision and its current and long-term business objectives at domestic level
- Ensure people management initiatives are in place to attract, develop and retain the right talent
- Partner with the country president to support the continued development of a high performing senior leadership team
- Partner with the senior leadership team to collectively drive high internal employee engagement
- Ensure solid succession planning to key roles
- Partner with the different Business areas in order to create a high performing HR support for current and future business needs
- Influence the business planning process to ensure adequate delivery of results with estimated resources through high quality recruitment, development and retention initiatives
- Contribute to the development of AZ wide HR policy and process and provides input into strategic HR direction and owner of local HR policies and guidelines
- Actively partner with the leadership team to ensure that AZ values and performance standards are effectively reflected in recruitment, talent planning and reward decision-making
- Define HR resource requirements to deliver organizational HR objectives and enable successful execution of strategy
- Manage financial plans and budgets for all areas of responsibility required for delivery of HR services
- Drive and facilitate AZ Performance and Talent Management process in Camcar.
- Drive initiatives and procedures in: Recruitment, Employer Branding, L&D, Compensation and Benefits with the objective of attracting, developing, retaining and engaging the right talent in collaboration with Centers of Excellence
- Lead the HR function and participate in the day-to-day management of the HR department
- Drive and lead the SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) Agenda
- Collaborate with the Global HR organization to ensure that local initiatives are aligned and supported with regional and global initiatives
Your profile:
This interesting position requires a business degree with focus on Human Resources management and/or further training as a HR Manager. You have a proven track record in a senior HR Generalist/ HR Business Partner position with the following skills:
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Good teambuilder who can easily connect with people across all levels and cultures and lead them towards a common goal
- Demonstrate a robust and sound understanding and knowledge of all key HR practices
- Capability in developing and implementing the HR strategy
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills
- Project and change management skills
- Experience in leading teams
- Delivery focused approach
- Central America HR working experience desired
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and in English. Any additional local language is a plus
