■ 職務内容 / Job Description

Statistician(STAT) is an key player of coducting observational/database research in Medical division of AZ KK. Therefre, STAT surely plays the following roles. STAT directly reports to the director of Data Science, EOR. 

1. Support/advice AZSS from a statistical point of view
To design about study design, method, outcome, and analysis from an statistical point of view and support for observational/database research by providing effective inputs. 
2. Assessment of study purpose/design/analysis method/analysis
To review plan/report of observational/database research from a statistical point of view
3. Making/review for analysis plan
To make statistical analysis plans of observational/database research. 
4. Calculation of sample size
To calculate the appropriate sample size in each study.
5. Propose new methedology in each study 
To implement innovative methodology (eg. machine learning) in studies.
6. Provide precious interpretation from a statistical point of view
To provide analysis results with high quality and give interpretation to them 

■ 応募資格(経験、資格等) / Qualification (Experience & Skill etc.)
【経験 / Experience】
＜必須 / Mandatory＞

1. Statistical tasks for clinical development/observational study including DBR
2. Statistician/Statistical programming in clinical development/observational study
3. Research for statistics

＜歓迎 / Nice to have＞

On top of the mandatory experience,
• Experience in reviewing, assessing and using Real-World data for the research purposes to address clinical / research questions
• Networking, integrating and using EMR(electronic medical records)/EHR(electronic health record) data for the clinical / epidemiological research
• Using/applying bioinformatics methodologies to analyze medical big data / database / scientific research outcomes
• Doing of Health Technology Assessment in building models, estimating Health Care resources, analyzing the health economics/technology and crafting value propositions

【資格 / License】
＜必須 / Mandatory＞

 Master degree in Engineering, Science (Math, Physics, informatics) or equivalent 
(individuals holding MD/Public health/pharmaceutical science degree may be acceptable

＜歓迎 / Nice to have＞
 PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics is desirable.

1. Knowledge of statistics
2. Programming skill of R, & SAS in clinical studies
3. Implemantation of new technology & methodology
4. Publication/Medical writing of own researches
5. Exchange insights about ststistical subjects with external
6. Presentation at meetings about study design, results, and statistical methodology

On top of the mandatory skill-set above,
• Design, construct and implement the process/platform of database research by using data
• Evaluate a health care data to make clear drug characteristics

＜必須 / Mandatory＞

日本語 Japanese：
• Understand/write scientific documents including data speculation in English/Japanese
• Communicate, and discuss IT/bioinformatics topicss with the key stakeholders and experts in English/Japanese practically
• Make a English presentation  leading and facilitating the IT discussions in the global meetings

英語 English：
• Understand/write scientific documents including data speculation in English/Japanese
• Communicate, and discuss Statistical topics with the key stakeholders and experts in English/Japanese
• Make a English presentation 
• Lead and facilitate IT discussions in the global meetings
