What you’ll do

As an Associate Medical Affairs Manager/ Medical Affairs Manager under our Medical Team, you will be a single point of contact for the Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism. The role will work very closely with Medical Director to deploy and adapt Medical Affairs strategy to the local market including tactics and execution.

Your job responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the therapy area to provide therapeutic and product expertise and to support the development of medical strategy
  • Provide medical support such as reviewing promotion materials to ensure compliance, engagement of KOLs and providing medical information in response to both internal and external customers
  • Drive medical strategic activities including the development and facilitation of medical meetings, publications and research related to the brand

Essential for the role

  • University graduate in medical science, pharmacy, pharmacology or related discipline
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs function within a pharmaceutical industry
  • Medical/Scientific knowledge in the responsible disease area
  • Competent in Adverse Drug Reaction reporting in compliance with local regulations
  • Possess a high ethical standard and knowledge of the HKAPI Code of Practices
  • Strategic mindset, strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese


Desirable for the role

  • Possess Hong Kong Registered Pharmacist License
  • MSc, PharmD, or PhD in a scientific discipline
  • Team management experience
