Introduction to role :

  • Do you feel prepared to invent renal care outcomes across Ludhiana by forming positive relationships that change prescribing be this role places you at the center of our kidney care offerings. You will align scientific evidence with real-world practice to help patients receive the right therapy at the right time. Your work will connect local insights to strategic action, strengthening our market position while improving patient pathways.

  • You will join a fast-moving, collaborative environment where medical knowledge and commercial execution come together. Working closely with specialists, hospital teams, and cross-functional colleagues, you will develop local strategies that deliver measurable results—driving on-label adoption, elevating clinical understanding, and building durable relationships that translate into balanced growth.

Accountabilities :

  • Account Strategy and Planning: Build and carry out account-specific strategies that improve how our kidney care portfolio is positioned locally. Convert market insights into clear business plans aligned with targets.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: Lead science-based, on-label discussions with specialists on indications, efficacy, safety, and treatment protocols; establish long-term collaboration with hospital decision-makers and multidisciplinary teams to support appropriate prescribing.

  • Strengthen clinical and practical understanding of our renal value proposition across MDTs and DMUs. Use tailored communication, workshops, and impactful speaker programs with advocates and KOLs. Actively support and train ER physicians, junior doctors, nurses, and others involved.

  • Sales Delivery and Budget Management: Own sales performance within the territory, ensuring forecasts meet or go above and beyond; deploy fair-balance messaging and the right mix of promotional tools to deliver results on budget in line with national/local guidelines and product licenses.

  • Insight Sharing and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bring together and relay team member insights to advise product development, marketing, and sales strategies; give to coordinated account plans that accelerate evidence-based changes in the real world.

  • Compliance and Governance: Complete all training requirements, including product examinations; uphold all external regulations and internal policies; ensure adherence to our Code of Ethics and standards when engaging with patient groups and the healthcare community.

Essential Skills:

  • University Science graduate or equivalent experience, ideally MBA from reputable institute.

  • Proficient in oral and written communication (English).

  • Must have 3+ years of sales experience with Pharma sector in RENAL CARE domain.

  • Should have shown consistent success in sales, working across departments, and possessing strong business insight.

  • Organizational skills, good analytical skills / mind set, ability to handle complexity with a high degree of maturity.

  • Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Shown experience handling hospital accounts and complex DMU/MDT dynamics in territory care settings.

  • Track record of performing high-quality speaker programs and multidisciplinary workshops with KOLs and clinical advocates.

  • Strong proficiency with CRM tools, data-driven territory planning, and performance analytics.

  • Deep understanding of national and local renal treatment guidelines and hospital protocols.

  • Proven ability to mentor and upskill clinical teams and extended stakeholders in high-acuity environments.

  • Established networks with nephrologists, ER physicians, and hospital administrators in Ludhiana or surrounding regions.
