Senior Manager, Franchise Insights & Competitive Intelligence
This is what you will do:
The Senior Manager, Franchise Insights & Competitive Intelligence is an office-based role within the German commercial organization. The incumbent supports the Director Commercial Operations by leading strategic franchise insights, competitive intelligence, and field insights projects and initiatives across all indications. This role reports directly to the Director Commercial Operations.
You will be responsible for:
Competitive Intelligence
- Lead and coordinate competitive intelligence activities across local indications, including competitor tracking, market sizing, and cross-indication analyses.
- Identify and monitor key changes in the competitive and market landscape.
- Support the development of market insights through analysis of competitor data, patient dynamics, and prescription trends (e.g., LRx), in close partnership with Market Research.
Franchise Insight Coordination
- Coordinate the franchise insights deck by collecting and consolidating relevant insights for each indication into a structured franchise-level presentation.
- Prepare summaries, analyses, and updates for stakeholders on key market and competitive developments.
- Support business planning and cross-functional discussions through relevant insight generation and data interpretation.
Field Insights & Data Governance
- Gather and consolidate field insights (e.g., patient dynamics) in collaboration with Sales, Medical Insights, and Market Research.
- Partner with Market Research to align on insight needs, relevant data inputs, and analytical priorities.
- Support governance of the Master Data Management framework to ensure data consistency, quality, and compliance.
You will need to have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in physical, natural, or biological sciences, medicine, mathematics, economics, or business
- Relevant work experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical competitive intelligence
- Deep understanding of market data approaches (e.g., LRx, Pharmascope)
- Ability to interact effectively with external stakeholders across various management levels and functional peer groups
- Ability to build cooperation and deliver presentations on technical information related to specific projects
- Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment while delivering projects within internal and external deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to demonstrate initiative
- Strong interest in consulting, healthcare, and the pharmaceutical industry
